What is Performance?
As per Timothy Gallwey (Harvard educationalist and tennis expert, 1974), It is an inner game equation : Performance = potential – Interference
That inner game focus on improving performance by growing potential and by decreasing interference.
Now that we defines what is performance, let me introduce you to the culture of The Performance Curve.
The Performance Curve focuses on the collective prevailing mindset of the culture and how this creates the conditions for performance. In The Performance Curve, there is four stages that each is represented by overall cultural mindset. Each mindset creates distinct organizational characteristics and relates to a certain level of performance.
Here are the 4 characteristics:
-Impulsive : Lack of systems or structure.”whatever happens, happens”.
-Dependent: Follow the rules. Under Hierarchy.
-Independent: System support and individual goals. “I am a high performer.”
-Interdependent: Meaning and purpose unite.”We are truly successful together.”
So how do you create high performance?
How do you know that high performance is correlated with interdependent (mindset) ?
Yes, an Interdependent mindset equals a high performance mindset.
The moment you step from Independent into interdependence mindset in any capacity, you step into a leadership role.
And when it comes to leadership role, you enter into the awareness culture.
Which are :
-Self-awareness
-Social awareness
-Self-Management
-Relationship management
Now let me ask you a question.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Benjamin.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I am Stephanie, a French international model, turned TV presenter and personality, Public Speaker and Certified International Celebrity Coach. I started modelling in Paris at the age of 19 and have over a decade worth of experience in the fashion industry. I model for London Fashion Week, Top model Europe and UK show, also did Beauty Pageant and won the title of Miss Power Woman France 2017. I have also been on TV for the Italian branch of “Take me out” show and today I am an official TV presenter for “Top Model UK”, well-known fashion event and premier Model Search Awards. Originally, from the French Caribbean, I was however raised in Paris. From there, I relocated to London while running an international career. As an adventurous and ambitious young woman, who was multilinguistic; speaking six languages, I had the opportunity to become as well, an entertainment host for many reputable live show productions across the globe. Over the years, I have met incredible and talented personalities, with this fire to succeed. I also realize how hard and lonely journey It can be to follow your dream. I wanted to inspire others, pushing them achieving their life goals by telling them that they can. By building a success mindset. While assisting to a public speaking event, I have decided that this will be my final purpose. I became a brand ambassador for the world largest education seminar company “Success Resources”. Now, my question iswhat’s stop you from living your dream?
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
What’s challenge me the most, was to overcome loneliness. No matter what I decided to do, I did all of it on my own, with no support, facing all the negativity that people can have on you. My mom past away when I was 9 and my dad, as a very business expert accountant did what he could to raised me then. The good side of it is that I become independent at a very early age.
When you are a young black woman and you travel the world, solo many are the occasion to give up.
But I believe in myself and this never been negotiable. I got this. Yes, it hurts to see how mean people can be, but it is ok, I will get through it and come out stronger. I will learn if I don’t know, I will practice even on off season if I need to improve but no matter what, I got this and this is it. That’s what I always said to myself.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
-Strong of over 10 years experience in the Fashion, Media and Show-business Industries, I covered all sizes of events and keynotes speeches, seminars, workshop and PR, as well as, Awards and dinner speeches, on subjects like the Fashion Business and Cultures, Celebrities stories, Leadership, Personal branding and Success Mindset.
-I also collaborate with brands and can deliver, Staff training, International Business advices, Lecturing, Brand Consulting and Business Travel retreats. -Finally, for those interested in private coaching or mentoring, this is also possible , with possibility of bespoke online coaching, face to face and travel retreat, designed base on the client needs. (Mindset and Body training).
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Master yourself before anything else. Do not rush the process, trust the process. Also stay true to yourself and follow your heart. if you can see yourself do it, then you can do it. This is it !
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
My meaning of Success is a feeling of satisfaction, for something that you are passionate about. It’s when you get to a point of saying to yourself: ” this is it, I did it!”. Success is the result of dedication, action and consistency.
What’s next for you?
Since I had recently collaborated in 2 books and I have discovered a new world, the authoring world, I just love it. This is the reason why I am now in the process of writing my own book that hopefully will be out this year. -I have also public speaking events coming up in different countries on the subject like Entrepreneurship and Fashion Modelling.
-Coming up as well a world tour Fashion show that I will be Hosting. Will as well keep running my Tv Show for top Model UK where I get to interview Celebrities and Inspiring Personalities.
And last but not least a collaboration with a reputable Online Magazine about leadership, Business, Mindset and Empowerment, as contributor writer.

Just face it…you know what? You can even stand up right now in front of the mirror and ask yourself this question. Because to be honest everything in life is about knowing who you are. So if you don’t have a clear answer to this question, then there is where you should start before even being able to deal with criticisms.
Criticisms are part of everybody’s life since forever, from the moment you born until the end. An average person or a public figure will receive unpleasant returns from the others no matter what, it all depends at what level. However while growing up, we all have a different way to be prepared of receiving criticisms, not to mention that for many of us, we are just not prepared at all! Knowing who you are, will be your best asset to handle criticisms, when someone questions you, you know how to clap back and when someone tries to fool you, it just will be a waist of time. Just don’t take it for yourself.
No matter what we do, we will be criticised. You do good, you do bad… you are different, you look like everybody else…You are blond with blue eyes, you are black with a big mouth… you love girls, you love boys… you are rich, you are poor…etc. Still you are criticised. But it is important to recognise bad criticisms to the good ones, which I prefer to call the “constructive” ones. Common sense will be to focus on the good ones.
Constructive criticisms are not always the positives ones, they can be also the negatives ones, the ones that can help you grow and achieve your goals.
People talk. So, How to get away with criticisms? In a way…there is no ways but in another way, it can be the way that makes you bigger than this! Sometimes, not being prepared to it, it’s the best thing that can happen to you. Many of the Leaders of this world are the best examples of being criticised and discredited for actually what makes them a LEGEND in their journey through success.
For example: Walt Disney, the most famous cartoonist and creator of famous cartoon creatures such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc to name a few. He failed several times in his life, even was fired from a newspaper agency for not being creative enough as per the expectations.
So what if you are not perfect? So what if he or she or they don’t like you? just to mention one of my favourite quote :”the world has the habit of making room for people whose words and actions show they know where they are going.” (Napoleon Hill)
Just stay true to yourself, because you are enough, no matter what they say…#trustyourself #believeinyourself
